Okay, so I got to the show around 1 and hung out with Lizzie and I met her boyfriend. They said they weren’t going near the stage, so I left and called Ms. Chapman and she wasn’t staying at the barrier either. Then my friends Kevin, Maggie, and Caroline tackled me and I left with them.
After stealing Caroline’s Monster, I went into the crowd for Foxy. I met this really cool chick who loved Foxy. Eric came out and I was RIGHT in front of Sky. Eric made his speech about his real voice and made his speech about parachutes being like the mind. “They’re much better when they’re open.” Half way through the show, Sky jumped into the crowd with his keyboard AND I TOUCHED HIS BEARD and held up his keyboard. Then, Eric ate like 7 lit cigarettes like usual and gave a speech that had to be about him, because, common, it’s really obvious that it was. It was about a man who went into a bar and started drinking and thinking about how everyone is dying and got really depressed and he got sad and tried to walk out of the bar and across the street and onto a stage and he was fine. They finished their set and I made my way through the swamp and onto the sliver of concrete that was available.
Civil Twilight bored me to death. I was about to fall asleep. I’m not even joking.
Falling In Reverse just gained a new fan. They were amazing. Ronnie made a really nice speech and then took off his shirt and started to take off his pants on stage, but stopped in the middle of taking his pants off and the entire crowd was like “AWWWWWWWWW”. I met a girl who fought with this girl for a while about loving Ronnie more than this other girl. She gave me her url, but I totally forgot what it was. Oops. Anyways, FIR were amazing and I somehow managed to be pushed FORWARD so I was about 1 person away from the barrier.
After FIR, The Used came on. I met these two girls who I stood next to at the barrier. I was right in front of Jeph and really close to Bert. Right before Quinn walked on stage, I had written “THE USED SAVED MY LIFE” on my arm. They played some of my favorite songs (but they didn’t play Blue and Yellow). Bert looked at me and smiled really big and made this speech about music saving his life and how he knows it’s saved other peoples’ lives. Then he smiled at me again and I think he winked. I started BAWLING. It was amazing. One of the security guards touched my arm where the sharpie was and he said “HOW?” and I just said it was a really long story and he was like “Well, I’ve got all day” and smiled at me. Bert was dancing like an idiot and Quinn kept smiling. Bert made us all chant the word “yogurt” and then made fun of us for it. Someone threw shit on stage and he was like “THROW SOME MORE SHIT AND SEE HOW FUNNY IT IS” so we all started throwing bottles at them and Jeph kept kicking shit back at us. Then someone threw a turkey leg at Bert and he picked it up, pretended to take a bite, and hurled it into the crowd. They were all so happy. At the end of their set, Dan threw his drum stick towards me and me and this guy caught it. I asked him if I could have it and he said yes. Thank you random dude. You literally made my night. I gave him a sliver of it because it was broken and I think I said “thank you” about 32844328957 times.

It was so hot. Worse than last year when I saw Panic!. I made a lot of friends that I’ll probably never see again. You know, the best kind. I made friends with the security guards and a guy who screamed “I BET THIS IS THE FIRST TIME A GIRL HAS EVER OPENED HER MOUTH FOR YA, HUH?” at the guy spraying us with water so we didn’t pass out. I made friends with two fans of The Used and FIR. Today was just amazing.
I also broke my phone. I think. And my shirt is ruined. I’ll just make another.
