Okay, so I have been waiting to see The Used since 2004. They’re my favorite band and my biggest inspiration. At times, their music was the only thing that kept me going. I love them to death and beyond.

Yesterday at the 97x Backyard BBQ, I literally FOUGHT my way to the barrier in the really hot, shitty Florida weather and stood a mixture of dirt, water, and shit for hours just so I was in front of Jeph. I finally got my chance to see them and the show was free.

Right before Shine, Bert made this speech, looked at me and smiled. I literally broke down in tears.

I had this written on my arm when they came on stage and Bert saw it. (I caught Dan’s drumstick at the end of the show.) This was the best moment of my entire life.

Tonight was the best day of my entire life. Bert made a shout out to me in the crowd and Dan threw his drum stick into the crowd. I caught it and another guy had the other side, so I asked him if I could have it and he gave it to me. I can’t believe I just saw The Used. Waiting 8 years was worth it. Oh my god.

this was a pain in the ass to make, but this is what i’ll be wearing this tomorrow at the show. come chill with me at the barrier and yay.

oh and you might be able to order this shirt this summer along with others. by that time, it’ll look a lot better and i’ll have more practice with making shirts. all the money will go to send kids to concerts that can’t afford tickets, food costs, travel costs, etc. i’m unsure about the price, but i’ll try and make it as reasonable as possible. link link link

BY THE FANS, FOR THE FANS. MERCHANDISE FOR A CAUSE.

I might start selling custom band merch (shirts, tank tops, bags). It’ll be from $10-$15 (maybe a little more to start off unless I get donations) instead of paying $20+ for official merch. (I might throw in a free mixed CD with personal art on it, but I’ll figure that out later.) I’ll have you guys help design them and you will have the chance to send in your own shirt so you know it will fit you. All payments will go through Paypal unless you need me to make special arrangements for you.

A large portion of the money will go towards charity, or something of that matter. What I have planned is a secret for now and will be revealed sometime in the future. The other portion will go to buying supplies. I’m not looking for any profit in this at all. That’s not my plan and it never will be.

I’ll be starting off with merch for The Used and My Chemical Romance, but feel free to submit ideas for other bands as well.

Let’s see if I can get all this running before summer. Reblog and spread the word please!
