Okay, so I have been waiting to see The Used since 2004. They’re my favorite band and my biggest inspiration. At times, their music was the only thing that kept me going. I love them to death and beyond.
Yesterday at the 97x Backyard BBQ, I literally FOUGHT my way to the barrier in the really hot, shitty Florida weather and stood a mixture of dirt, water, and shit for hours just so I was in front of Jeph. I finally got my chance to see them and the show was free.
Right before Shine, Bert made this speech, looked at me and smiled. I literally broke down in tears.
I had this written on my arm when they came on stage and Bert saw it. (I caught Dan’s drumstick at the end of the show.) This was the best moment of my entire life.
